Meet Your Lifestyle Coach:

Sherri Shelton-Johnson, PT, DPT, CCM

Dr. Shelton-Johnson is a licensed physical therapist specializing in the treatment of adults with neurological, orthopedic and musculoskeletal impairments. She earned her BS degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Tennessee; her advanced Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Alabama State University and a Certificate in Diabetes Education from Emory University. She is a Certified Case Manager, Health Education Consultant, and Lifestyle Coach for the Prevent T2 Diabetes Program of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Sherri enjoys working with non-profit organizations promoting healthy life-style behaviors to combat the long-term effects of chronic illnesses such as Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease, and Chronic Kidney Disease. In addition to community outreach and education, Dr. Shelton-Johnson works with other professionals to advocate for public policies that promote healthy communities, physical activity, and improving health literacy.
